Fishing Report 1/9/20
Today (Thursday) is the best day we have seen since before the first of the year. The swells are coming down to about eight feet but they are on a short frequency, making the swells very steep. Tomorrow the forecast calls for the swell to go right back up reaching 27 feet on Saturday. As frustrating as it is we have to remember that it is winter and these weather conditions aren't out of the ordinary. Looking forward as far the the 15th the swells will range from 10 to 16 feet. We will continue to watch the conditions and as soon as there is an opportunity we will get you out fishing.
Some minor changes to the Rockfish bag limit this year. There is a sub-bag limit of one China, Copper or Quillback Rockfish per person per day. The general marine bag limit remains five Rockfish and two Ling Cod (over 22"). Sport crabbing in the ocean is open.
Seasonal info will be posted as it becomes available.
2020 sport bottom fish : new sub-bag limit of one China, Copper or Quillback Rockfish. General Marine bag limit remains five rockfish and two Ling Cod.
