Named after a term for the largest tree in the forest, Wolf Tree Brewery has a taproom off Highway 101 in South Beach. Guests can come to taste draft beer, cider, wine, free popcorn and take home growlers or bottles to go. From the wet-hop ale called Buying Greenland Fresh Hop to the Bavarian-style Hefeweizen called A Hef Has No Name in addition to other creative IPAs and amber ales, the list of brews has something for every beer enthusiast. While enjoying the beverages, they can also eat at the taproom, which has a full menu serving breakfast, lunch and dinner. The Wolf Tree cafe in the space below the taproom welcomes guests of all ages. With baked goods and an espresso menu in the morning and a deli and pub menu in the afternoon and evening, the family-friendly cafe allows visitors to bring in beverages from the taproom upstairs. The outdoor seating area with picnic tables is also welcoming to dogs. The owners of Wolf Tree Brewery produce their beer right on their family-run cattle ranch in Seal Rock, using local ingredients when possible.
