Bridgewater Bistro offers fine and casual dining right on the river's edge. Small plate, housemade breads and desserts, sustainable fresh seafoods, and meats are a few of the features on the menu. An award-winning wine list, house-infused liquors, vintage cocktails, and local brews are a must to try at the in-restaurant bar. All meals are 90% gluten-free and both the menu and the atmosphere is kid-friendly. Fresh regional food & beverages, bold and interesting flavors at affordable prices.
Located in a historic boatyard/cannery building, The Bridgewater perches on pilings over the Columbia River with 270-degree views up and down the river, across to the Willapa Hills and to the charming Victorian homes marching up the hills to the south. Remodeled in 2007, this 110-year old building’s Douglas fir tongue-and-groove flooring (3” thick!) and massive “kicker” beams will take you back in time.
Our dining rooms include a main floor with access to an outdoor dining deck and a mezzanine level which seats up to 54 for special occasion gatherings and meetings.
We work with local farmers, fishers, cheesemakers and meat producers to source all of our ingredients as close to home as possible – we even have a lovely kitchen garden right here along the river that supplies us with most of our herbs and many specialty vegetables year-round. We strive to keep our menus fresh and seasonal.
