The Ten Fifteen Theater, CANCELED - The Weir
Event Description:
CANCELED. While we would love to continue bringing our show to you, we made the decision last night to postpone further shows as of today. The Weir cast and crew are dedicated to bringing the show back as soon as we can. Our target date is April 10 (if that is possible with the containment efforts). Very sorry for this. Pre-purchased tickets will be good for future shows or for refund. Liberty Theater Astoria From Irish playwright Connor McPherson, one of the finest writers of his generation, who specializes in tales that make the supernatural seem entirely natural. Directed by Karen Bain. Four men and a woman share haunting stories on a blustery night in rural Ireland. The stories told are magical, describing brushes with the supernatural.

Set in the interior of a pub in a small Irish town, the play begins with the usual banter and gossip between three men, the proprietor Brendan, and 2 regulars Jack and Jim. When a former pub regular arrives with a newcomer, Valerie, who recently purchased a home nearby, the storytelling begins. The stories told are magical, describing brushes with the supernatural, where the line between truth and imagination is as mysterious as the darkness of the rural night.  Directed by Karen Bain and starring Rick Gray, Mick Alderman, Nancy Montgomery, Bennet Hunter and Simon Caron.

Featuring a performance of live Irish Music by Nate Crockett, Daric Moore and Julian Gingerich.

Tickets $15, available online and at the door
Age limit:
This play contains strong language and adult themes. It is not suitable for children.
