The Astoria Golf and Country Club is the only private golf club on the Oregon Coast and is open to members and guests of USGA golf clubs with advance reservations year round. The distinctive layout of this course takes advantage of the area's rolling terrain and makes it challenging for all levels and types of golfers. Take note, however, that playing conditions can vary with the weather.
The club offers a double-ended practice facility with a covered and heated practice area and unlimited range balls, a full service golf shop, a restaurant with a fine dining menu and a banquet room for special events, like wedding receptions. As a member you can take advantage of perks, such as PGA certified golf instruction, monthly golf events for men and women, a junior summer golf program and access to dining and bar facilities. Members can also participate in a wide range of social activities such as theme dinners, monthly bingo nights, New Year’s Eve parties, Easter egg hunts and couples golf.
Known as the St. Andrews of the Pacific, the Astoria Golf and Country Club was founded in 1923 and is located less than a mile from Sunset Beach on the sandy dunes of the Pacific shore in Warrenton. The course has been home to the annual Oregon Coast Invitational Tournament since 1937, one of the top amateur golf events in the Pacific Northwest.
