No voyage to the coast is complete without a little treasure hunting, and the Seaside Antique Mall is a go-to place to score your swag.
The complex is made up of three adjoined buildings with approximately 100 antique dealers and thousands of old-fashioned finds. There’s a room with over 3,000 model cars and other areas teeming with vintage silver, glass, jewelry, license plates, furniture, china, pottery, books, collectible glass, toys and much more.
With so many dealers and experts on hand, rarities seem to be the Mall’s specialty. Some of the more surprising merchandise of yesteryear has included an heirloom Native American umbilical cord amulet and an antique four-foot-tall traffic signal in fine working condition.
The Mall is located one block west of Highway 101 in the Old Town District of Seaside, within walking distance of the Pacific Ocean. Just to show how dedicated it is to its clientele, the complex is open seven days a week throughout the year except for Christmas, Thanksgiving and Easter.
