Seaside Golf Club is a one-stop spot for everything golf – good greens, good times, good food and good drinks.
No reservations are needed at the public nine-hole course with rental clubs and carts available. The par 35 course opened in 1923. It measures 2,593 yards from the longest tees, is set on 125 acres and known for its soft greens and clean fairways. It was designed by Chandler Egan, a 1904 summer games Olympic gold-medal golfer, who was also the architect of award-winning links from Pebble Beach to Seattle.
The famed Par-Tee Dining Room offers hearty breakfast, lunch and dinner specials, as well as a popular Sunday brunch, with both indoor and patio seating. There’s also a sports bar that locals like to frequent for a beer and a burger, with Pac-12 games, big screen TVs and a nightly happy hour.
