T. Paul’s Urban Cafe in Astoria, Oregon attracts folks of all ages who are into comfort food made with genuine flair. While the owners are native Astorians, they lived in Portland for a time, returning to Astoria with a shared vision rooted in that urban experience.
They soon opened the casually upscale, family-friendly eatery, which features fusion cuisine that blends big city fare with flavors from the Mediterranean, Mexico and Asia. Fun and funky artwork characterizes the interior, and a short counter serves lone customers, over which sits a display of tantalizing desserts. Tables and booths dot the remaining space.
You can get lunch, appetizers and dinner. The menu is chock full of choices – soups and salads, sandwiches, quesadillas and tacos, pasta, steak and seafood. Their happy hour menu serves small plates to compliment their offerings of draft and bottled beers and wine by the glass or bottle. The kids’ menu includes sandwiches, pasta and quesadillas so that even the littlest diners find something they like.
