Wildflowers and Wapato at Wolf Bay
The North Coast Land Conservancy has been working hard to rid the marsh at Wolf Bay of invasive purple loosestrife. Now they’re planting native marsh species such as wapato in openings where the loosestrife once thrived. Wear rubber boots and gloves. NCLC will provide the needed tools. Bring your own drinking water and lunch. There are no toilets or potable water at our work site. Dogs are not allowed at any NCLC habitat reserves. For more information or to sign up and get directions, contact NCLC Stewardship Director Melissa Reich at 503-738-9126, firstname.lastname@example.org.
